Meeting with Anuar Zain

This morning, i was so excited to come to work to meet up with AnuarZain, he coming over for a meeting.

Its an opportunity not to be missed!

Unfortunately, exactly at 10am today, Herms informed hes not coming, his management team will represnt him. So, I decided not to attend the meeting. No point going since hes not there.
Isn't he adorable?
hey hey, I have my own memoirs of AnuarZain k.

Attended the Secretaries week lunch in JW Marriot entertained by him. Me, Herms, Faisal & Jenny was invited by his manager,Rohila to watch his performance. He is such a true gentleman, charming, cunning and all the gals in the ballroom is so so into him.

Well, I have to maintain my 'cool', can't get too excited, since ours is the main table, which was the 1st tier that cost RM300 per pax. Was mesmerized by him with all my favourite songs, including 2 new songs from his soon to release album. Coming out soon! (chewah, i pulak tolong buat promosi:-)!)

Emcee: Cheryl Samad, cute gal, i adore her with her own style of entertaining. my gfren who went for earlier lunch session with AnuarZain was complaining about Daphne Iking as an emcee, not sure why...
Food? for a 5star hotel, of course you expecting a 5***** also, but food was horrid! Menu need to be revised/improved.
Well, the fact that i'm not that hungry, listening to Anuar is such a fulfilling event, he is such an entertainer.
Looking forward to work with him more in any company activities.

Well, since the lunch appmt is in KL, side by side to Starhill. I sempat shop for new cushion cover in Jim Thompson, http://www.jimthompson.com/aboutus.asp the one I wanted for such a long time....hehehe. Its for my new crib.

F1 Fever 6th -8th April

(me on the pics, but i want u to check the crowd!)

I know its bit 'expired/basi' updates..but just wanna share the thrill of F1'2007 this year.

We were given an opportunity by SIC to have our own field to honour our subscribers. Frankly, F1 Grand Prix was here for a couple of years, but truthfully, this year was my 2nd time to the circuit.

1st time, in 2002 with my ex-housemate who works in MAB and managed to get us 2 VVIP Grand Stand tics for free, at first, was thrilled to go but once we reached there, it turns out differently. I was bored!, I didn't enjoy myself, sat there with our ear plug, on a super hot weather and watched the super fast cars racing which until today I tried to understand the mechanics. But I did enjoyed watching the crowd and the food/drinks served to us on VIP lounge and up close and personal with the socialite!

Last year, organize a F1 contest for our international subscribers, though was running here n there, I should be Company ambassador to bring this int'l people but ended up pass the extra Grand Stand tics to our CMO to ballot it and our CS people won it.

This year, our team got a chance to organize it for our loyal subscribers. Initially, was planning NOT to go, was sneezing and had running nose all day, and on that Sunday afternoon was so hot & humid. Since Yusz was so thrilled to go, OKlah, don't want to dissappoint her since I got the parking stickers and C1 tics.

We missed the starting time, as we're stucked in the jam for nearly 45minutes near the circuit area. Was surprised to see the crowd, and we managed to paint the hill YELLOW! Kudos to Segment team!

We stucked in the jam again on our way back and traffic was routed to Nilai. Its a long way back home but actually it was a fun journey!

Before that on Friday F1 party at Zouk, we enjoyed ourselves there meeting up with old friends but since it was too 'house music', I didn't enjoyed the nite. Later, me and Rema decided to unwind ourselves elsewhere and Nithi decided to bring us to his favorite place, we head up to 'Blue Boy', a happening place for 'Gs'. It was my 1st time eva entering such club, thanks to my dear friend, Nithi.

Hey, that place is packed, happening and the music is so damn good. We had the 'bestest' time ever, n seriously, gals I think that is the safest place ever for us to go and enjoyed ourselves. No one will kacau us, k!

Heya heya....

Geez.....its been while! my blog was empty, no updates!. Am I that busy or actually LLB? hahahahaha

Its been quite a busy weeks for everyone in the office rushing for their projects/run an events/longhour meetings, until I don't even have time to surf the net/update my blog.
In addition to that, I just got my keys to my new loft! So a bit tight up juggling my excitement of my new house and work stuffs that need to run prefectly!...
At time, my mind was breeze away from our tight schedule/non-stop meetings on my small new crib that I have...lookout for contractors, kitchen design, interior decor, contemplating either want to stay or rent out...the list goes on and on...I need a moment of silence here...

Though some referrals was referred from my dear friends, I still LOST! the anxiety of having your own home and still renting at your favourite area is still haunting me, luv my USJ area which all amenities is nearby, especially Taipan versus my new crib which is near to office..hurrgghh (a long long sigh!)

My parents decision is needed here, which normally will end up with positive comments. Looking forward to spend time with them next week. (Once I'm back from my Langkawi trip)

Another Heaven on Earth

Handbags, beautiful dresses and lastly, the ultimate ONE, shoes. It complete a lady.
Today, received a fascinating email from a gfren on "Shoe Fair" in May. Im so game, gurl!:-) (thou its month to go)

Man will never understand why women need so many shoes and handbags? And even ourselves could not give the answer, its just that its never enough and never ending...:-)

A beautiful pair of shoes will always give us this sense of completeness, satisfaction and even create envious to other ladies. It gives us the feeling of confidence.

Even, high heels can also be one of our protection tool beside our pepper spray. (Ladies, make sure you know the tactics)

I, myself is a 'foot fetish' aka shoe lover. (Who doesn't rite?...) I don't mind spending my hard-earned monies for a nice pair of shoe, I remembered my last trip to Singapore, I bought 7 pairs of shoes on 1 go! After conversion, fuyoh...!!!so just paid up my CClah.

So, ladies, Bling it on!

Plan for travelling? Read On

Important: New Hand Luggage Rules for taking Liquids, Aerosols & Gels
Several government authorities are implementing new measures restricting the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels that can be taken on board aircraft as hand luggage for flights to, from and within the country to enhance security for passengers. The new measures, which take effect immediately, mean that:
Liquid, aerosols and gels taken on-board planes as hand luggage must be in containers no bigger than 100ml (milliliters). This include drinks, creams, perfumes, sprays, gels, toothpaste, lipstick, lip balm and similar substances that you can pour, spray or smear.

These containers must be sealed comfortably in one litre transparent plastic re-sealable bag (for example 20cm x 20cm or 15cm x 15cm)
Passengers will only be able to carry one of these transparent bags each;
Duty-free items taken through screening are subject to the same rules as other liquids, aerosols and gels. At many Australian airports, passenger will be able to purchase and collect duty-free items after they have passed through screening for their international flight. Further restrictions will apply if travelling to USA or Canada.
No duty-free items will be permitted to be taken through an international transit screening point in Australia. Similar rules are in place at airports internationally.

Passenger may carry duty-free liquid, aerosols and gel purchases on board if they are delivered to the departure gate in a sealed bag with proof of purchase and collected after passengers have proceeded through security screening.
Passengers may also purchase liquid, aerosol and gel duty-free items on board an aircraft. However, if they are transiting through Australia, these items cannot be taken through the screening point.

The new measures take into account the health and medical needs of passengers. Passengers may still carry on-board prescription medicines necessary for the flight are also allowed. There are no changes to the amount of aerosols, liquids and gels passengers are allowed to pack in their checked luggage, providing they are not 'dangerous goods'. Airlines will be able to advise what items are considered to be 'dangerous goods'.
